I’m a big boy

07 Sep

Tonight, I blogged, paid my car insurance, signed up for a biblical Greek course, and signed up for the men’s bible study at church. Now validate me before I go to sleep. No seriously. Give me praise for doing several mundane things in a row. Do it in the comments. Haha, said do it. Dirty.

El Chris,I noticed that no one had commented, so thought I'd bite… Congratulations on all of the above! 1) Blogging: Writing about oneself is difficult for a lot of people. But you, (despite your foolish, bloated ego), pull it off with humor, grace, and talent. 2) Paying the car insurance: I think that often people forget that paying bills can be a luxury. Given that I know you work with low-income kids, I think you'll understand what I mean. There have been times in my life when I wish I could have paid the car insurance.3&4) Biblical Greek course & men's Bible study: I recently read a billboard that said, "As long as you are living, continue to learn how to live." This of course takes effort. Given your willingness to join such groups/classes, I'd say you're excelling. Life should be a time and place to learn all we can, about ourselves, others, and the One that has given us the chance to do so…..Consider this blog entry VALIDATED. And not BC it was my duty since you said do it. (Cue to laugh hysterically!) But rather BC sometimes seemingly mundane tasks mean more than what we first realize.
